Root Residence

This is a custom home near the beach in San Onofre. The client wanted to develop a design which fused classic mid-century modern lines with more contemporary materials and details. The plan centers around a kitchen/living/dining great room space with the living area opening to the front yard, where you can can enjoy excellent views of the nearby surf.

A pivoting large front door and over-sized pocketing sliders help blend the division between interior and exterior.

The ground floor offers 2 guest bedrooms and the master suite occupies the second level which has it's own views to the ocean.
